On Saturday May 31, the Big Cities Health Coalition and Vital Strategies convened a panel of public health and harm reduction experts to present new national polling data and spotlight the latest stories from the front lines of community building and harm reduction, including the official unveiling of the ByLAForLA.org website. In part one of our coverage, this week on Century we hear from two of the panelists: Chrissie Juliano, Executive Director of the Big Cities Health Coalition, and Dr. Brian Hurley with the LA County Department of Public Health.
Plus, we hear part of an interview with the journalist and best-selling author Maia Szalavitz.
