This week on Century of Lies: #CND68 Part Three.

The United Nations Commission on Narcotic Drugs held its Sixty-Eighth Session in Vienna, Austria back in March. A number of side events took place during the session that were organized by member nations, UN agencies, and civil society organizations.

On this edition of Century of Lies we hear portions of a side event entitled “Addressing Gender Inequalities and Compounding Vulnerabilities in Drug Policy,” starting with opening remarks by Boyan Konstantinov, Policy Specialist, HIV, Health and Development at the United Nations Development Program, followed by presentations from Emily Christie, Senior Advisor in Human Rights and Law at UNAIDS; Angela McBride, Executive Director of the South African Network of People Who Use Drugs; and Teresa Castro, a social worker and peer collaborator at Kosmicare in Portugal.
