Ashland University helps about 3000 Adults in Custody (AICs) and post-release individuals obtain a college degree through their Correctional Education programs. a college degree is a significant indicator of post-incarceration success, yet higher education remains difficult to obtain for many incarcerated adults who could most benefit from such programs.
Prison Pipeline co-host Emma Lugo talks with James Cox about the importance of higher education, the kinds of programs and services offered, the technology used to access these online resources and the resources offered to adults post release who are pursuing higher education.
