Please join us for Transpositive PDX on Tuesday, November 14th at 6 pm on KBOO Community Radio as we talk with Rev Ethan Gregory, Julian Soto, Michaela McCormick, Nicolette James, Ember Wigmore, Sheila Mengert, Rev Mark Knutson, Cassidy Brown, Steve Cromer and Rev Alison Miller for our annual Transgender Day of Remembrance Show. We will be talking with faith leaders from Methodist, Lutheran, Jewish, Unitarian, Wiccan, Pagan, Buddhist, Catholic, and other traditions as we remember the lives of those who died this year because they were transgender or non-binary. This show is in advance of the annual Transgender Day of Remembrance Interfaith Vigil held this year at First United Methodist Church in Goose Hollow on Sunday, November 19th at 4 pm.
Transpositive is a biweekly program in Portland exploring themes important to those who identify as Transgender, Gender Non-Binary, and Gender Non-Conforming. Transpositive tries to connect listeners with the ongoing activism, arts, culture, and dialogue happening in Portland and beyond. Make your voice heard! Transpositive PDX is open to new and experienced programmers, guests, and events you want our community to know about. We are an open collective. Anyone who identifies as trans, gender non-binary, or gender fluid is welcome to be part of our collective after completing some basic free radio training.
