Amber shares about the mission and work of Compassionate PDX

Join me as I interview Amber Canavan, an organizer with Compassionate PDX. Compassionate PDX is a grass-roots group of volunteers dedicated to creating political change in favor of non-human animals. Their current campaigns are Fur Free Portland, Fur Free Oregon, and Foie Gras. Compassionate PDX is part of a coalition of organizations nationwide in areas such as New York City, Massachusettes, and Minneapolis, to name a few. Amber also shares what she has seen behind the curtain of factory farms. Additionally, she emphasizes the successes of the animal activists in the PNW, which is a sustaining reminder to help activists move forward with the heartwrenching work of fighting for animal rights and liberation.
