On this episode of Locus Focus, we talk with Ennedith Lopez, co-author of a new study by the Institute for Policy Studies: “New Mexico at a Crossroads: False Solutions or Just Transition?” While New Mexico has an especially long history of being used by government and industry as a sacrifice zone for dirty energy, the challenges it faces to achieve a just transition away from a fossil fuel economy to a renewable future are pretty universal.
