Please join us on Monday, January 2nd at 6:30 pm for Prison Pipeline on KBOO Community Radio as we talk with Julia Lazarec of the Podcast "Prison the Hidden Sentence".  In this interview we turn the tables as Julia Lazareck interviews Prison Pipeline for her Podcast.

Julia Lazareck, who is a national advocate for families of adults in custody raising awareness about the reality that when a loved one is sentenced to prison, their loved one's on the outside serve the sentence in a way with them, providing emotional and financial support, experiencing many of the same emotional adjustments to their inter-related lives that adults in custody face when looking at prison time.  This week Julia interviews Emma Lugo of Prison Pipeline about her work as a member of the collective.

Prison Pipeline is a radio program dedicated to educating the public about the Oregon criminal justice system. Our goal is to present a unique understanding of the criminal justice system, address the root causes of crime, and challenge the status quo. We seek to promote awareness and activism in order to foster a safe, healthy, and just society. Tune in every Monday at 6:30 P.M. to hear our hosts Karen James, Adam Carpinelli, Emma Lugo, and Doug McVay explore the Oregon justice system with a variety of guests.
