We say goodbye today to musicians from Portland (Sam Henry, with a song from the first Wipers LP), Seattle (Mark Lanegan, in a haunting duet with Isobel Campbell), Canada (Dallas Good, with a classic from The Sadies), and Great Britain (Gary Brooker, with nearly a full hour of rare Procol Harum, live at the Hollywood Bowl in 1973, accompanied by the L.A. Philharmonic), and wish we could say goodbye to war (with help from The Temptations, The O'Jays, and The Staples Singers) and Putin (with help from Randy Newman).
