Keep the Dream Alive is a new documentary film commerorating the 37th Annual Triubte of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and celebrates the program’s history and our community’s legacy. The film highlights local pioneers, activists, community leaders, artists, and youth whose valiant efforts have left lasting impacts in Oregon’s African-American community. Produced by Ken Berry and Bobby Smith, this film was directed by Elijah Hasan with narration by Donny Adair.
The film is also being screened at 3pm, Monday, January 17th, 2022 at Portland’s historic Hollywood Theatre (4122 NE Sandy Blvd).
