On this episode of the Gap, Tammy and Althea speak with Bea Yeh Ogden, the Event & Community Space Manager for the Asian Pacific American Network of Oregon (APANO) about their Liberation in Practice series this month. Ogden walks us through the development of the workshops from the ongoing 'Resilience' series APANO has offered since he pandemic began and the significance of focusing on solidarity and co-liberation within BIPOC communities. Find the event schedule here.

Then, we ask, what are some new terms or phrases that explain something you noticed before but didn't have the words for? We're thinking about internet slang and words that have resurged in popularity for a new generation, sometimes with new meanings. Language is fluid y'all! Try to hold its meanings too tight and it will slip right out of your grasp.
