Today we get to speak with David Michelson, the chief petitioner of the Yes On IP13 campaign and director of the petition committee End Animal Cruelty. The Initiative Petition 13 is a proposed ballot initiative for the 2022 Oregon general election. If passed, IP13 would remove exemptions to our animal cruelty laws that currently allow some industries a pass for animal abuse, neglect, and sexual assault without penalty.
