On this episode of the Gap, Tammy and Althea discuss Biden's inaguration and his executive actions in the first days of his presidency. There is a lot that got done in a short amount of time! The Paris Climate Agreement, DACA road to citizenship, ending the "Muslim Ban" and banning LGBTQ+ discrimination, to name a few. In the future though, Congress needs to put these actions into law, so they can't be so easily undone in the future.

Then, we talk about the prospect of a new education curriculum for all Americans to better inform the individual on how to recognize misinformation on the Internet. Oregon Secretary of State Shemia Fagan proposed using her office for that purpose when she was a candidate.

Our callers bring up the Fairness Doctrine - more on that soon!
