Sky Wilson interviews Kent Ford, co-founder of the Portland Chapter of the Black Panther Party about the role of the radical Black tradition in our world today. This interview was produced by Old Mole Desiree hellegers. Sky Wilson is new to KBOO and the Old Mole. Originally from Minneapolis, Sky has been a member of the Clark County community since 2007, when he moved to Vancouver to teach and finish his doctorate degree at Washington State University. For nearly two decades, his research and work has focused on community organizing, and local communities creating alternative community-based structures.
