Prerequisite:

- FCC Basics: Legal Issues in Radio Training
- Programmer Orientation
File specifications:
- File Types: WAV, MP3, or FLAC
- Break the file into 1 hour chunks.
- Include Legal IDs at the top of Each hour (or at least within 5 mins of). “Kay Bee Oh Oh Portland"
- The last 5 minutes of each hour should be music only (The endings could get clipped if there are any PSAs at the top of the hour, so it best to wrap up back announcing, if any, before then)
- Your extra content can either be an "Evergreen" or even a "Special"!
- Evergreen means the audio has no references to dates or events that will become outdated overtime, so it can be broadcast many times in the future. (i.e. A Jazz music set that doesn't mention any upcoming events, the weather, or mention any dates. Just music, back announcing, and fun anecdotes.)
- Special means the audio has timely references and is meant to be broadcast within a certain period of time. (i.e. A piece that includes a timely interview about an upcoming event)
