Tickets Still Available for OMSI After Dark: Good Vibrations Wed, Aug 29

This Wednesday, at OMSI the planetarium, doors will open at 7:45 PM to allow seating for the 8:00 PM immersive experience of Insectuality, a collaboration between Echo Collector Events, KBOO's Threshold Shift, and OMSI. This is a short form program (20 minutes) that will run from 8:00 to 8:20 PM as part of OMSI After Dark's:  Good Vibrations (museum doors are at 7:00PM). The whole theme of this night at the museum will be music, sound, and human perception. It is a 21+ event. There are tickets still available at the OMSI Box Office and online at www.omsi.edu for $15-$20 or less for OMSI members. The tickets are good for all of the events happening at After Dark, however, they will NOT guarantee you a planetarium seat! As the capacity for that space is 186 seats, if you'd like to experience the immersive ultrasonic and vibrational field recordings in glorious discrete 5.1 under the stars of Panama, you should get to the planetarium prior to 8 PM when the doors open at 7:45 PM.

This event is part of Hear and There:  Audio Postcards from Earth. This quartet of audio works includes two long form programs on KBOO and two installation events in the OMSI Planetarium. Insectuality is the second piece in this series.
