Nikki has been an environmental sound designer for over a decade and now brings her skills to the KBOO airwaves to bring us some audio treats.
Finding a place where the sounds of nature remain uninterrupted by human produced sounds such as planes or cars is a rarity these days, so Nikki has brought an amazing collection of professionally recorded nature soundscapes from locations around the world to the airwaves of KBOO for her audio series, Threshold Shift. The series can be heard every Friday morning from 10:00-10:15am from Sept 1-Oct 27. She will also be featuring longer format recordings during her late night specials on Oct 4 &18 from 12am-3am.
