Hello there, I'm Pamela Santos, your new Miss Universe... oops, I mean, your new Membership Director. 

Here's the Top 5 Things to know about me:

1. Mets diehard. Fair warning: conversations are going to start to lean in one direction in April.
2. Queens raised me, the Philippines bore me, and Florida bored me.
3. First day as a newsroom volunteer offered me a way to expand on the reporting of Jennifer Laude's murder as a Filipina American. Not that much reporting experience before that day but you could say the instinct to get at the truth was always there.
4. I'm human IMDB. I tend to talk to anyone because I somehow made room for all of pop culture in my brain.
5. Motherhood is part of my radical journey. Bread and Roses made a natural home for me and I'd still like to think feminism is for everyone especially here at KBOO.
