KBOO is delighted to be a media sponsor of these important and creative community events!
KBOO loves to let our listeners know about what's happening in our region.  We are also proud of our role in helping various arts, activist, cultural and community groups in getting information about their events into the hearts, minds, and the agendas of community members like you!

KBOO has a very active Media Sponsorship Program, creating community partnerships to help promote worthy events.

Here are some of the events that KBOO is sponsoring this month.  We hope you'll take a moment to check out some of the great things happening around Portland.

The Christmas Revels:  The Christmas Revels is a fabulous cultural performance armchair travel adventure to different locations and cultures, rated one of Portland's top family holiday experiences since 1995.  There will be perfomances between December 6th - 15th.

Triangle Productions Presents: American Fiesta: This is the northwest premiere of American Fiesta, a witty, hopeful tale of imperfection and acceptance. An obsessive collector on a quest for the perfect piece of vintage Fiestaware deals with his parents’ opposition to his same-sex marriage. Starring Gary Wayne Cash, there are performances through December 22nd.

Penny Rosenwasser, reading from her new work Hope into Practice:  Author Penny Rosenwasser will read from her new book, Hope Into Practice, Jewish Women Choosing Justice Despite Our Fears.

Pa'lante and Jujuba jam to benefit Mercy Corp's Phillippine relief efforts: World Music Traditions Collide this New Year's Eve when Nigerian band Jujuba and Afro-Cuban band Pa'lante bring the Portland community together in a high energy dance party to help the people of the Philippines. Celebrate and dance New Year's Eve and raise much needed funds for Mercy Corps’ work in the Philippines.
