Shanghai Nights returns for New Year’s Eve at Portland’s historic Bossanova Ballroom with an exciting lineup assembled from leftcoast all-star musicians, including Portland-based saxman Devin Phillips and Seattle’s McTuff Trio, ambient indie artist, Stephanie Schneiderman (Dirty Martini, Voices For Silent Disasters), and rising-star guitarman, Scott Law, who will be joined by former Tough Mama bandmates “Mighty” Dave Pellicciaro (Jackmormons) and Dale Fanning (Living Daylights), with Keith Lowe (Fiona Apple, BRAD) on bass. The night culminates with a STRING CHEESE INCIDENT REMIX SET, from genre-bending Colorado-based DJ/producer, DJ Harry, who will be joined by the Motet’s Jans Ingber on percussion.
