NACA and the National District Attorny's Association would like to submit a GRANT to OJJDP to help tribes plan and implement "Amber Alert and Internet Crimes Against Children" programs. The Native American Children's Alliance 's mission is committed to improving the response to Native American and Alaskan Native child victims of maltreatment and their families.
We need tribal resolutions for the applicarion. They do not have to be signed until the project starts, but included.
WE NEED RESOLUTIONS BY MAY 26TH 2010 !!
This is a great opportunity for ALL tribes to get more training and technical assistance around child victimization.

The purpose of the program is to expand critical services, best practices, tools and other resources to serve tribes and protect children in those communities, from risk of harm or explotation.
HIGHLIGHTS OF PROJECT GOALS:
*Assess extent of tribal youth victimization and/or at risk for sexual exploitation.
*Assist the existing Internet Crime Against Children Tasks Forces and state , local, and tribal law enforcement agencies to effectively repond to exploitation.
*Provide training and technical assistance to tribes to PREVENT and respond to child exploitation.
*Provide Community education programs.
*Improve coordination with state, local and tribal law enforcment for effective investigation and PROSECUTION of offenses.
*Enhance tribe's ability to repond to missing, endangered and abducted children, including runaway children and victims of child trafficting or commercial sexual exploitation.
Help BREAK THE CHAINS!! Don't let it go on - not one more generation of child abuse!!! Our most precious future is our children.
Let them grow up without the sins of the of the evil ones. Watch them closely. Let them grow in the light of the GREAT ONE. Who is always watching!!!! .
