A Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Bridget B. here, I'm co-anchoring the live KBOO 90.7FM broadcast from the Highland Christian Center on Monday, January 18. Join us at A Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., which takes place from 11:00am to 6:30pm at 7600 NE Glisan St., Portland, OR 97213. PCMTV will provide time delayed programming of the tribute on channel 11 from 1:00pm to 9:00pm.

The World Arts Foundation, Inc. is proud to produce its 25th consecutive tribute to a great American; Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The tribute will feature a Dreamers Village, a full range cultural enrichment vendor display, showcasing a variety of local community businesses and organizations. Performers throughout the day include Linda Hornbuckle, Janice Scroggins, Reggie Houston, No! Kidding! Choir, Inspirational Sounds out of Eugene, Oregon and more.

Help support the local food bank by making a donation of $5 or 4 cans of non-perishable food and help those in need "Keep Alive the Dream" during this time of remembrance.
