Iron Tribe is hosting “The City of Roses Annual Resource Festival” This Saturday. The goal of this event is to connect Portlanders to organizations that offer resources for all people, including people experiencing homelessness and people transitioning out of prison. There will be food, drinks, music and crafts making it a day of celebration and outreach. Thats this saturday from 10am to 6pm at Pioneer Square in downtown Portland. This Saturday “In Other Words Bookstore”, the last surviving non-profit feminist bookstore in the United States, will host a Rummage Sale and veggie-friendly BBQ Benefit from 12 to 5.  They will be accepting donations of you're unwanted stuff up until the sale. In Other Words is located at 8B NE Killingsworth street in Portland. Contact Celeste @ in other words. org to arrange the drop off of larger items.

Party in the Park, brought to you by the Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District, is a daylong festival of fun and free activities for people of all ages.  It’s this Saturday, July 31, at their main recreation complex at 158th & Walker Road, in Beaverton.  There will be giant inflatables, climbing walls, face painting, pony rides, a collector cars, trucks and motorcycles show, and more.
