The U.S. pay czar told reporters today that the compensation paid to Wells Fargo’s chief executive raises serious questions.
Over the last year, Wells Fargo CEO John Stumpf received over twenty one million dollars in salary and bonuses.
The other top five executives in the company each received compensation worth more than eleven million dollars in 2009.
At the same time, thousands of homeowners are facing foreclosure on mortgages owned by Wells Fargo.
KBOO’s Jenka Soderberg spoke to one such homeowner, who has been told by Wells Fargo that she and her family need to be out of their house in Clackamas County by Sunday:
