There is an Organizing and Picket Sign Making Party TONIGHT, 6:30 pm, at the Bread & Roses Center, located 819 N. Killingsworth Street in Portland.  Help Radical Women get ready for the Gay Pride march and rally coming up this weekend.  There will be a light buffet with a vegan option available at 6:15pm for a donation.  Childcare will be available and all genders are welcome. City Repair and Recode are collaborating to offer community empowerment training-- the "Nurturing Leadership Workshop Series" starting TONIGHT at 6:30 pm.  All trainings will be held at 1131 SE Oak Street, in the St. Francis Church block, in Portland.   As a place for dialogue and skill building, the workshops will include Types of Leadership, Power Dynamics, Decision Making Options, and more!  Trainings will occur the second, third, and fourth Thursdays of each month from 6:30-9:00 pm, with all-day training one Saturday a month.  Sliding scale fees.  For more information, and to register, email hindi@cityrepair.org
