 Charles Eisenstein talks about the fundamental failure of our interest-bearing money system and the transition we must go through with what he sees as the impending collapse of our currency.  "Usury-money is the money of growth, and it was  perfect for humanity's growth stage on earth, and for the story of ascent, of dominance and mastery. The next stage is one of cocreative partnership with earth. The Story of the People for this new stage is coming together right now. . .No financial or economic reform can possibly work that does not include a new kind of money. The new money must embody a new story, one that treats nature not as a mother but as a lover."   Charles authored The Ascent of Humanity which can be read on his website, and writes for the online magazine Reality Sandwich. I find many similarities between Eisenstein and J. Krishnamurti. Eisenstein still seems rather attached to conveniences of modern civilization. I feel that this attachment is just a impedement to full freedom of human conciousnes. I don't think we can start where we are at now and slowly pick nice parts of civilization to keep. Also, I feel his understanding of business and financial markets as they now exist is limited. That limited understanding affects the scope of positive change. I commend him for his energy and patience as he seems very serious about helping others and our planet. I see his work as a link between understanding current conditioning/problems and a complete movement away from conditioning and total freedom. I know I haven't gone deep enough with my comments, but please bear with me.
