Although there are so many reasons to shop at Fred Meyer, there is an even greater reason to stay away and that is their horrible treatment of their employees. When I first heard about this problem, I stopped going there - maybe two or three months ago. FM has opened itself up to a class action - so it's their policy - that doesn't make it ethical or moral I applaud the local union for taking a stand and not letting this just fall away. Sue the pants off these crooks and let that 70 year old retire on the settlement.
