Lewis and Clark's Graduate School of Education & Counseling will be offering two days of continuing education with it's 7th Annual Liberation-Based Healing Conference, Friday and Saturday, October 19-20. The conference will explore how liberation-based healing differs from traditional mental health and family therapy; the importance of viewing indivduals in relation to their culture, race, gender, and sexual orientation, as well as their social, political and historical contexts; and what sorts of interventions can be used to transform sytems of oppression, white supremacy and colonization. Host Stephanie Potter welcomes several guests who are making this conference happen. Call in with your questions and comments.
