Get to know your local wetlands! Are you curious to learn more about your local watershed and the wetlands within it? Please join us for this introduction to the unique Ramsey Wetland Complex (also known as Ramsey Lake) located in the Columbia Slough Watershed.

This hands-on workshop & tour will include both a classroom and a field trip overview of Ramsey Wetland Complex – located near Kelley Point Park in the St. Johns neighborhood. This unique site is home to three different types of wetlands all on one site! Learn about the history of these local wetlands, development and land use, and local hydrology, plants, fish & wildlife. Find out about water-based recreation access and opportunities, as well as stewardship opportunities.

This workshop is FREE, and donations are gladly accepted. Pre-registration is required.
