This evening at 8, the Q center invites you to Cabaret with a Q. This is a monthly evening of singing around the grand piano, meeting new and old friends, and watching clips from your favorite musicals and videos.Think of it as karaoke with a live piano. It goes from 8:00-10:00pm at Q Center, located at 4115 N Mississippi Ave in Portland.

Tomorrow morning, Saturday the 18, 2010, Friends of Trees would love your help with planting native trees and shrubs at Beggar's Tick Wildlife Refuge in SE Portland. Please arrive by 8:45 AM and dress for four hours of winter weather. Friends will provide morning refreshments, gloves, tools, and all necessary guidance. Also tomorrow morning, the Multnomah Friends Meeting house will host the Fifth Indigenous forum and commemoration of the International Day of Migrants. Representatives of several indigenous communities will share stories and histories, food, rituals, and discussions of their dreams, fights, and challenges. All are welcome from 11 AM to 2 PM at the Friends Multnomah Meeting house, located at 4312 SE Stark St. in Portland

Tomorrow afternoon at 1 PM, the Multnomah County Library’s Central branch will host a Free Music Concert featuring Joni Laurence. She will perform songs of reflection and humor tomorrow afternoon from 1 to 2 at the Central Library located at 801 S.W. 10th Ave.

Women of Wisdom (WOW) program supports, educates, and empowers HIV+ women by offering group and individual counseling, integrated health services, and a social support system. This program is currently looking for volunteers to help with childcare on Wednesday evenings from 3:30pm to 7:00pm. Volunteers are asked to make a 6-month commitment and will need to pass a criminal background check. Previous childcare experience required; current CPR/First Aid a plus.
