Just saw the film last night (at the Academy in Montavilla). Figured I'd see if anyone has talked about it on KBOO and found your review. You did the film justice, gotta say. I don't always like your take on things, or maybe it's the tone or something, but I really resonated with both of your impressions of the film, which I also found very powerful and, yes, haunting. What a person, Baldwin. One of our most astute social observer-critics.
