The perils of factory farming, the movement towards a sustainable future
On this episode host Courtney Scott interviews Katie Cantrell, the founder and Executive Director of the Factory Farming Awareness Coalition, and the US Program Manager for Green Monday. She founded FFAC in 2010, shortly after graduating from UC Berkeley, to educate people about the ecological and social justice hazards of industrial animal agriculture. Since then she has given over 200 presentations to venues like Yale, Stanford, and the Natural Resources Defense Council, and her materials have been used as a resource by food justice activists across the country.
