Heads Up! KBOO News/PA Donald J. Chump Post-Election Planning Par-tay

We are calling a meeting to discuss the work we do in the news and public affairs departments, to brainstorm new approaches in responding to our emerging political reality, and to recruit more volunteers to make commitments to specific tasks.

We'll have food, ice cream and the press-pass assembly line. Friends if you want a press pass you need to show up at one of these monthly events--the passes can't be pulled out on a moment's notice.

If you're a past volunteer who has drifted away and is thinking about volunteering some time in the future, pals now is the time. We are gearing up our citizen journalism trainings and tightening up our systems. If you've never volunteered before, come on down and learn more about citizen journalism.

We are planning an array of future trainings -- and perhaps new approaches to training --  focused on helping people get in the producer's seat to create content and get it on the air. Wanna help figure it out? Come on down.
