Bhi Bhiman
Bhi Bhiman is a Sri Lankan American singer/songwriter.  His musical style has drawn a diverse range of comparisons from Rodriguez and Woody Guthrie to Nina Simone and Bill Withers.  An accomplished guitarist and clever lyricist, it is Bhiman’s unique voice that truly sets him apart.

Since the release of his debut album in 2012, Bhiman has toured extensively with artists as diverse as the comparisons he evokes; from Chris Cornell to Rhiannon Giddens. His new album offers more political commentary in songs such as "Moving to Brussels" and "There Goes the Neighborhood."

You can also catch Bhi Bhiman live at the Aladdin Theatre, as he opens for Rhiannon Giddens, on May 19th.

Join us at guest host Sarika Mehta chats with Bhi Bhiman live, in studio, on Tuesday, May 19th. Bhiman releases Rhythm & Reason, on May 19th, the day of the interview!  The 10 song album reveals more of his soul and R&B influences yet maintains the singer/songwriter tradition for which Bhiman is known.
