Earth Day show about labor and the environment, mining on Mt. St Helens, and a biblical flood

Clayton Morgareidge hosts this special EARTH DAY show, and we will hear
  • Bill Resnick talks with Jeremy Brecher about labor and the environment.  Brecher is a writer, historian, and activist who is the author of more than a dozen books on labor and social movements.
  • Laurie Mercier interviews Bill Carter, author of a new book about copper mining, just as plans are underway for mining operations on Mt. St. Helens.
  • Our Movie Moles review "Noah", the new film about an old flood.
  • Clayton reads a poem about naval warfare and deceptive surfaces by Portland poet Vern Rutsala, who passed away this month.
