Protection Oregon’s Children from Exposure to Bisphenol A (BPA)
Host Erik Jorgensen speaks with Jen Coleman from the Oregon Environmental Council about the recent rejection of SB 1032 by the Oregon Senate. In mid-February the Oregon Senate rejected a bill that would have protected Oregon’s children from exposure to bisphenol A (BPA). SB 1032 would have banned manufacturing, distributing or selling reusable containers made with bisphenol A if the container was designed to be filled with liquid or food intended primarily for consumption by child less than three years of age.

Stephanie Potter speaks with Carole Hart, director and producer of "For the Next 7 Generations," and Linda Neale, founder and board member of the Earth and Spirit Council. "For The Next 7 Generations," a documentary film chronicling the efforts of 13 Indigenous Grandmothers from the four directions to heal the earth & her inhabitants, will show at 4 pm on 3/14 at the Clinton Street Theater, 2522 Southeast Clinton Street, Portland 97202. A fundraiser for the Earth & Spirit Council, the International Council of 13 Indigenous Grandmothers and The Oregon Food Bank.
