Ways to Support KBOO
Beyond becoming a member, here are several other simple ways to financially support KBOO at no additional cost to you.
DONATE A VEHICLE - It's as easy as 1-2-3, click here to start.
GOODSEARCH - Probably the easiest way to earn some extra cash for KBOO, at no cost to you, is to utilize Goodsearch as your internet search engine. Full details on how their system works is available here. On your initial visit to their site, you will need to select 'KBOO' as your preferred charity in the box labelled 'Who Do You Goodsearch For?', verify it, and then you're all set. Then you can add Goodsearch to your browser's toolbar search box (IE, Firefox & Safari), and never worry about it again.
MISSIONFISH - Do you sell products on eBay? Do you know someone else who does? Missionfish enables eBay sellers to donate either a fixed amount, or percentage, from an item's sales price to your selected nonprofit. KBOO is already registered there, and here's what you'd need to do to start contributing through your eBay sales.
EMPLOYER MATCHING - Put your employer’s money to work for KBOO. We have a list of businesses, large and small, which will match your paid pledge to KBOO dollar for dollar, or even double or triple it at no additional cost to you. This is a simple way to double every single contribution you make to KBOO.
You can also include KBOO in your estate; donate stocks, bonds or real property. Please read below for more information on planned giving and contact our membership department about these options or other ideas you may have.
You can also spread the word about local, independent media by getting involved in your community.

Planned Giving: Your Community, Your Legacy
You’re a radio listener. But not just any radio. You listen to community radio. And in northwest Oregon or southwest Washington, that means KBOO.
You also probably support KBOO financially. Being a non-commercial outlet, KBOO depends on those contributions for 85% of our annual operating budget. And several thousand other people like you do the same.
But not nearly as many take the next step, and help guarantee KBOO's longer-term security by including us in your estate planning. Naming KBOO in your will or trust now secures your ability to continue your lifetime of support, without affecting your current financial security and freedom.
You may not think your property and investments comprise a large ‘estate,’ but all together it may add up to a surprisingly large total. And regardless of your future gift’s size, you can benefit by having an attorney draft a simple will, and ensure that future generations enjoy advantages that KBOO currently offers to you.
Whether you choose to donate to our operating fund, capital fund or endowment, you can enjoy the satisfaction of leaving a legacy for future generations. Your thoughtful inclusion of KBOO in your estate plans will assist the growth and enhancement of KBOO Community Radio.
Our legal name is "The KBOO Foundation." Our Federal tax ID # is 23-7232987.
