TICKET GIVEAWAYS

 

All donations of tickets shall be approved by the Development Director, who shall distribute them as follows: If KBOO has a booth at the site and tickets are necessary for volunteers to be admitted to staff the booth, tickets shall first be given to the volunteers who sign up to do so.  If that is not the case, or there are additional tickets after the booth has been completely staffed, they shall be divided equally to be given away in-house and on the air.  In-house tickets shall be given away by the Volunteer Coordinator by lottery to volunteers and staff members who sign up for the lottery.  No less than 24 hours prior to the event, the appropriate number of names shall be selected at random.  The Program Director shall distribute tickets to be given away on the air to appropriate programs as is reasonable under time constraints.  Tickets given away on the air are limited to KBOO members and shall not be given to programmers' family members or housemates.  The names and phone numbers of persons receiving tickets given away on the air shall be provided to the Program Director so that arrangements can be made for the tickets to be picked up or the names to be called in.
