Fundraising

Proposed fundraising projects will be submitted to the Development and Finance committees for advisement. The Station Manager will present projects to the board via the station manager report. Examples of projects may include: benefit events, major donor campaigns, or grants.

Grants: Proposals for grant requests will be submitted to the station manager who will then disseminate to appropriate bodies

The following information should be submitted:

• The name of the person writing the grant.
• The name of the funding organization.
• The amount being requested.
• The purpose of the grant.
• An estimate of KBOO resources needed (matching funds, staff time, use of facilities).

Proposed projects will be reported to the Development Committee and the Finance Committee. The grant will be reported to the Board of Directors for approval via the Station Manager’s report. If the grant process is being undertaken and is determined to be unacceptable by the Board, it can be cancelled at any time.
