Join us on Friday, May 11th, at 7pm for “Sound and Vision: Asian American Filmmakers from KBOO Radio.”

We will screen a trio of films: A narrative short by Chihiro Wimbush set late night at KBOO, a short documentary by Patti Sakurai responding to anti-Asian racism on corporate radio, and a documentary by Miae Kim on the displacement of South Korean farmers by U.S. military base expansion. All this followed by a Q & A with the filmmakers and a discussion on contemporary Asian American film led by Marie Lo from the English Department at Portland State University.
