North Portland neighborhoods clean up
their community for Earth Day

Armed with gloves and smiles, the North Portland community will hit the streets, trails, and their neighborhoods on April 21st, 2007. 3 neighborhood drop off locations (Bridgeton, East Columbia and University Park Baptist Church at 4340 N. Lombard) will be open to allow residents to dispose and recycle unwanted items!

In addition, there will be litter pick-ups and illegal dumpsite clean-ups in the following places: Overlook neighborhood at Beach School, East Columbia neighborhood and Children’s Arboretum. Join your neighbors, meet new people and take pride in cleaning up your community for Earth Day 2007.

This event is sponsored by METRO, City of Portland, Peninsula Clean Team and North Portland Neighborhood Services.

Pick-ups available for senior citizens and disabled residents.
