Every Thursday the Portland Parks & Recreation Teen Force hosts an Open Mic for ages 13+.

There is no stage or microphone. We're an acoustic Open Mic but are open to amps and plug-ins.

Instead of a performer/audience structure, we've evolved into a circle of creation and collaboration.

Standing up or right from your chair: share poetry, rap or hip hop, drum, sing, play guitar or do comedy improvisation. Whatever you do, someone else may join in to accompany you!

Parks and Rec is a non-profit, so this is free!!
