Circle A Radio on 02/03/10
Early in the morning on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, January 18th, about 50 people gathered at Sisters of the Road Cafe in Portland, to travel to San Francisco for a protest about Civil Rights and Affordable Housing, organized by the Western Regional Advocacy Project (WRAP).
Tonight, on Circle A Radio, you’ll hear from some of the Portlanders who participated in the movement building trip to San Francisco, as well as some of the people they met along the way. We’ll also update you on the current situation in the Rose City.
This show is a collaboration between Right 2 Survive (R2S), an organization led by homeless and formerly homeless human rights advocates and Circle A Radio.
