Freedom of Speech and Civil Discourse - Must One Come at the Cost of the
Other?
Is the exercise of free speech destroying our ability to communicate with each other about important issues? Is
the call for "civil discourse" just a way to shut down those who don't
benefit from the status quo? From angry bloggers to political attack ads to
explosive exchanges at the local coffee shop, something seems to be happening to
the way Americans interact with each other. This week on Voices from the Edge
we'll explore whether there is a breakdown in civility and whether we can
