Audubon Society of Portland’s 29th Annual Wild Arts Festival Opens November 21st

The 29th annual Wild Arts Festival, Audubon Society of Portland’s Holiday Art and Book Event will run November 21st and 22nd  at Montgomery Park, 2701 NW Vaughn in Portland, Oregon.

This celebration of nature in art and books—which has become a Portland tradition—will open on Saturday, November 21st (10am–6pm) and continue on Sunday, November 22nd (11am–5pm).  Admission to the show is $5 (free for ages 16 and under).

More than 100 artists and authors will appear at the show.  Artists will be present all weekend; authors will sign books according to a schedule which can be found at www.wildartsfestival.org.

Additional features include a silent auction with scores of art-related items, collectibles and services, and the return of the popular 6”x6” Art Project, for which community artists have volunteered to create an amazing array of one-of-a-kind, bird-themed small canvases.

All profits from the Wild Arts Festival support the Audubon Society of Portland’s conservation, education, wildlife rehabilitation and other programs.
