A FREE Thursday evening lecture and book signing by Dr. Reggie Ray, who brings us four decades of study and intensive meditation practice within the Tibetan tradition. This event will be the start of a weekend of teachings and practice with Dr. Ray, who teaches within the dharma and meditation lineages of the great siddha, Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche. A long-time teacher at Naropa University, Dr. Ray is the author of several books and audio programs, includinghis most recent book, Touching Enlightenment. In this book Dr. Ray says, “I see the global crisis as a crisis of disembodiment . . . we have completely lost our connection with our bodies and our physical existence. We need to find our way back to our bodies so we can re-experience the sacredness of the natural world which we knew as children.”
