Bioregional news and Josh Ruebner with the US Campaign to End the Occupation on 'Move Over AIPAC'.

It's the 63rd al-Nakba Commemoration!  Across the world people of conscience are participating in 'active remembrance'  of a catastrophic human tragedy on the scale of the Holocaust.  Paradoxically, the creation of Israel was itself an act odf anti-semitism.  The 'Allies', the Western nations paraded their humanitarian efforts in public, while privatly acknowledging that they understood and even empathized with Germany's perceived "Jewish Problem".  Oh yes...many of our noble iddeals were a smoke screen for some rather grim truths.  Sixty-three years later the Palestinian people - innocent bystanders in a conflict which was all about global resources and only marginally altruistic -  are still paying the price of the Allies' anti-semitism.  "The Good War"?  not down at the dirty end of the stick...
