Jessica Campbell of the Rural Organizing Project on the Burns Occupation and the Community Response

Host Jo Ann Hardesty interviews Jessica Campbell from the Rural Organizing Project about the occupation in Burns, Oregon and how the community is responding.
Jessica Campbell is the Organizing Director of the Rural Organizing Project. For the last year, Jess has been working with local leaders in rural and small town communities to respond to the growing militia and "patriot" movement.  Last April she worked with leaders in Josephine County to respond to an armed encampment at the site of a mining dispute near Grants Pass, organized with leaders in Eugene in response to militia's attempt to recruit in the area, and has most recently been supporting local community members on the ground in Harney County.
