13,000 Oregon ballots contested
Around 13,000 contested ballots WERE NOT COUNTED in the November 4th election in Oregon. Voters have until WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 19th to fix any problems with contested ballots.
A recount is automatically triggered if the margin on any item is within 4,000 votes. This could have an impact on Measure 92, where the margin between No votes and Yes votes is around 7,500 at last count.
KBOO spoke with Tony Green of the Oregon Secretary of State's office for more on the 13,000 contested ballots.
ARE YOU ON THE LIST? - The Statesman-Journal has made it easy to search the full list of contested voters.
If you ARE on the list, contact your County Election Office before Wednesday the 19th to make sure your vote gets counted.
