The Monday Sampler welcomes some expert punk rock, some sirprise accoustic and some cool jazz

If you think The Sampler is the best show on Portland afternoon radio, then this must have been the best show ever. First off,  the  expert punk band, The Thundering Asteroids kicked things into orbit . We're visit by Evan Berkshire of the PSU Film Committee and he fills us in about the Australian cult movie, Bad Boy Bubby, they're showing this weekend.  Josh, Lyon and Tyler, will run down for us their experiences in this year's 48 Hour Film Project.  And then, out of the blue, totally unscheduled,  Dan Weber and Krista Herring brought their guitars into the air room and stole the whole show with their music. And finally, just in time for the hottest part of the day, we'll cool things off with The Midnight Suns. DK Holm will  review some must see TV, and there  was some talk about comic books as well. So, settle in on the porch or the backyard with a cool beverage, and tune in.
