November 29th Alan Baker will debut his new solo project to listeners all over northwest Oregon live on KBOO Radio's "Higher Reasoning Reggae Time" program, as well as open up a show at Portland's Alhambra Theater with Inherit Earth, and original Bob Marley and the Wailers member Devon Evans.

The Rising Buffalo Tribe -
Is a is 7 piece unit on a mission to play and maintain integrity in reggae music. Focusing in the realm of roots reggae. Creating music that speaks directly to the heart. Heavy drum and bass, tight rhythms, an explosive horn section, explosive chord & time changes, accompanied by an honest and soulful voice. The tribe is on rise catch the stampede before it passes. Roots and culture strictly. Blessed love!

DJ Margo - (spins in between live set and after...)
Margo moved to Portland almost 2 years ago from Arcata. She had started playing music out about 3 years ago in Arcata with friends at weekly nights there. Margo considers herself a music lover because it brings her much joy.
Since moving to PDX Margo has been a guest at Solo's First Saturday nights, started Sweet Reggae Sundays ( Bar Carlo) over the summer with Danielle Brosseau which is now a once a month family friendly reggae evening from 6-10pm and she's got a few other guest nights planned for the future. Margo loves reggae and dancehall just the same, but plays a lot more dancehall out. Margo is prepared for the night on the radio to spin reggae and positive dancehall. So let's welcome DJ Margo!

Darling Instigatah
SOUL SOUNDZ from Darling Instigatah is: The Spoken Word tip... These pieces are inner audio landscapes... guided meditations, transferred into words and set with music. On "the time is now" (tk 3) & "sunrise" (tk 7) - the words were written to the music. The music is largely influenced by reggae, dub (predating dub step), jazz, blues, house, hip hop, drum 'n' bass, and then some.

Influenced by Linton Kwesi Johnson , Lou Reed, Jimi Hendrix and Jim Morrison's poetry, Dido, & Sia - this collection from Darling Instigatah is the music of a gypsy poet, through the soul of an artist.

"This project was my every effort to share the love that I feel with the public at large, for anyone with ears & hearts to hear with." - Darling Instigatah (aka Hillary Bryan)
